 Dentals - Dogs and cats have dental problems. Many animals have significant tarter, periodontal disease and subsequent loss of teeth. Many dogs and cats require regular dental cleaning to prevent dental disease. Dogs do not usually get cavities, but they are not uncommon in cats. For dentals, we have an ultra-sonic scalar used to clean the teeth and we use an air powered dental unit, similar to one a dentist would use, to polish teeth and to perform other dental procedures.
