For diagnostics, we have a full capacity x-ray machine and automatic processor to perform our radiology imaging. When needed we have the capacity to e-mail digital images of the x-rays to a veterinary radiologist for a specialist consult. We have the capability of performing the vast majority of our blood work in-house, with results in 10-45 minutes. This includes blood counts, general profiles, electrolytes, and thyroid tests, as well as, fecal, heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV screens and cytology. We can also do urinalysis and urine cultures in-house. Other tests can be run the same day at a local human lab or shipped overnight to a veterinary lab. We also have an in-house pharmacy, which allows us to treat animals immediately. For our patients' comfort, we have infrared ear thermometers at all four exam sites.
